Thank the Dark Lord, for the blogging box is finally back to its original size. (Yes, I'm currently in a very Harry Potter mood after reading HPwiki)
So I am supposed to go for a camp at last, next week, for the Cultural Activities Club. I
am kinda one of those people who love camps for what they're worth, the mindless ra-ra-ing and all, but one thing I cannot understand is this - why the hell do they need to come up with some lame-ass theme like making us pretend we're warlords fighting to protect our country etc etc?!?
I mean look at this (taken from the FOC blog which I very resourcefully found on my own :p)
The dawn of spring marks the arrival of a beginning. Not just the beginning of a new year, a new season, but more importantly, the beginning of a new era. For the kings of Cephoria rule not only with wisdom and justice, the magic of the King-Priest is the only magic capable of protecting the kingdom from the touch of demons. And the magical prowess of the heir is supposedly unmatched as ar back as the founding of the kingdom. Yet that magical protection is not impermeable. Not since that fateful night two decades ago...
(My favourite phrases highlighted for your reading pleasure)
Okay....
So am I supposed to feel excited upon reading this? I mean, if I really do feel hyped up I should consider myself an extreme weirdo.
Seriously, I'm starting to regret going for a camp at all, because I realise for the horrendous Secret Pal thing I am going to have random interactions with this stranger I know nothing about, not even his face! Do you think it'll be extremely anti-social of me to refuse to do that? =/
Ok whatever I'll figure something out. Go me.
